Dispute & Takedown Policy

Last updated: April 2025

We believe in fairness. If someone has filed a false report against you, you have every right to dispute it. We take disputes seriously and act within 72 hours.

Who Can File a Dispute?

Any individual or entity named in a scam report on ScammedMe.in who believes the report is false, inaccurate, misleading, or defamatory can file a dispute.

How to File a Dispute

Send an email to dispute@scammedme.in with: (1) Your full name and contact details, (2) The URL or details of the report you are disputing, (3) A clear explanation of why the report is false, (4) Supporting evidence such as screenshots or transaction records, (5) A statement that your dispute information is true and accurate.

What Happens Next

Within 24 hours: We acknowledge your dispute.
Within 72 hours: We review evidence and may contact the original reporter.
Decision: We will either (a) remove the report if false, (b) update with corrections, (c) add a Disputed label, or (d) keep as-is if dispute lacks evidence.
Notification: Both parties will be notified of the outcome.

Court Orders

If you have a court order requiring content removal, send it to legal@scammedme.in. We comply with valid Indian court orders within 36 hours.

False Disputes

Filing a false dispute to remove a legitimate scam report is a serious matter. We reserve the right to reject bad-faith disputes and note them on the original report.
